How do I return an LMS KIT Team Clothing Item?

Cricket Equipment Returns Policy & Procedure.



Policy.



1. Cricket Bat returns & repairs Unless otherwise stated all new cricket bats are covered by a 6 month warranty. This covers all manufacturing and material defects caused by reasonable use.

All cricket bats are handcrafted from natural materials and, as a result, are expected to deteriorate during usage. We have put together the following notes to assist the explanation of certain likely scenarios, which may occur within the life-span of the bat. Bat breakages are part of the game of cricket and there could be several contributing factors when a bat breaks.

*All potential repairs and replacements are at the sole discretion of the manufacturer.


Breakage



i) Handle Breaks

Cause: General wear and tear. Solution: The bat itself is not replaceable but the handle may be repaired at the manufacturers discretion.

ii)Blade Breakage

Cause: Weak or excessively dry willow. Solution: Potentially replaceable by full or partial credit at the manufacturers discretion.

Blade Damage



i)Surface Cracking to the face of the blade

Cause: General wear and tear. Solution: Not replaceable as the crack will not affect the performance of the bat. Repairable at the manufacturers discretion.

ii) Surface cracking to the edge of the blade

Cause: General wear and tear. Solution: Not replaceable as the crack will not affect the performance of the bat. Repairable at the manufacturers discretion.

iii) Surface cracking to the toe area of the blade

Cause: General wear and tear. This type of damage is often caused by the striking of a 'Yorker' delivery and/or excessive tapping of the crease and is therefore not the fault of the bat. Solution: Not replaceable as the crack will not affect the performance of the bat. Repairable at the manufacturer discretion.

iv) Split through the toe area of the blade

Cause: This type of damage is caused by the striking of a ball at, or near the base of the blade, e.g. the striking of a 'Yorker'. Solution: Repairable and/or replaceable at the manufacturer discretion.

v)Cracking to the shoulder area of the blade

Cause: General wear and tear. Solution: Not replaceable as the crack will not affect the performance of the bat. Repairable at the manufacturers discretion.

vi) Damage due to misuse of the bat or by accident

Cause: Generally caused by accidentally striking an object other than the ball, stumps for example. Solution: Not replaceable, may be repairable at the customer's expense.

vii)Moisture Damage

Cause: This type of damage occurs as a result of use in damp or wet conditions. It generally leads to swelling of the toe area of the blade, which after drying may well split. Solution: Not replaceable as there is no fault in the manufacturing or the materials used. The damage may be repairable at the manufacturer's discretion and the customer's cost.

viii)Damage due to poor quality Cricket Balls

Cause: Poor quality or excessively hard cricket balls can be the cause of many types of crack or split damage to the blade of the bat. Solution: We recommend that only balls of reputable manufacture are used. Use of any other style or type of ball may cause damage to bats and will affect any claim made.


2. Cricket Protective Gear, Bag returns & repairs



Gloves, Pads, Thigh pads, Arm guards, Chest guards and Bags

All Cricket protective items & bags sold will include a 6 month warranty. The warranty covers a split in the seam, defective stitching or material defects. The warranty does not cover wear and tear, or heavy use.

If the product can be repaired without altering its performance or shape it will be done with no cost to the customer within the 6 months.

If the seam or stitching damage is major and cannot be successfully repaired an exchange, refund or store credit will be offered as per the Customer’s choice. The decision to exchange, refund or provide a store credit on these items will be at the discretion of the manufacturer.


Procedure



Damages and product failures

If any of the above damages or failures have occurred within the warranty period, please use the CONTACT US form to inform us with with pictorial evidence and a description of how the damage occurred. We may be able to assess the warranty claim from the pictorial evidence provided.

If we are unable to assist from the evidence provided, we will require that you return the goods to us for evaluation of the warranty claim. We will advise where to send to.

The warranty claim will be assessed within 5 working days of receipt of the goods. You will be informed of the course of action that will be taken within this period.

General Returns or refunds for unused items

We allow 14 days for the return and refund of unused items if they are in the original wrapping and have original labels still attached.

The cost of the return must be borne by the customer. Please advise us of your intention to return within this period via our CONTACT US form. We will advise address to send your return to.
